Questions, answered

Know what happens before you add a file.

Are my product files uploaded anywhere?

No. Auditing, repackaging, hashing, and report generation happen in your browser. PreflightZIP does not receive a server copy of the product files.

Does “ready” guarantee Etsy will accept the listing?

No. It means the reported technical checks found no blocker. Listing content, seller policy, legal rights, and Etsy's final decisions remain outside PreflightZIP.

Why not use a normal ZIP app?

A normal archive app compresses files. PreflightZIP also checks Etsy's delivery constraints, identifies package risks, inspects supported file structures, generates customer documents, and records final fingerprints.

Will it repair every finding automatically?

No. It safely removes known system junk and rebuilds package boundaries. It does not silently modify artwork, fonts, PDFs, embroidery data, or usage rights.

Which devices are supported?

PreflightZIP is designed for current desktop browsers. Large product folders need enough local memory, and physical production files still need testing in the software or machine your buyers use.
