What PreflightZIP provides

PreflightZIP is a browser-based utility for inspecting digital-product files, auditing ZIP packaging, generating customer documents, calculating SHA-256 fingerprints, and building ZIP files sized for Etsy's documented upload limits.

Your responsibilities

• You must own or hold sufficient rights to inspect, package, and distribute every file you use with PreflightZIP.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of product descriptions, licenses, usage rights, instructions, and support details.
• You must open and test the final files in the software, device, printer, cutter, embroidery machine, or other environment advertised to customers.
• You remain responsible for marketplace rules, consumer obligations, taxes, intellectual property, privacy, accessibility, and other applicable requirements.

Verification limits

A successful check means only that the reported technical checks completed without the listed blocker. It does not establish that a product is error-free, legally compliant, physically producible, accepted by Etsy, compatible with every customer system, or likely to sell.

Format support varies. PreflightZIP labels whether it read metadata, checked a signature, checked additional structure, or relied on the filename extension.

Availability and third parties

Browser behavior, device memory, source-file complexity, and third-party format variations may affect results. Etsy can change its rules at any time. PreflightZIP is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Etsy.

Billing, renewal, and cancellation

Pro purchases, taxes, subscription management, customer-portal access, and approved refunds are processed by Paddle, the merchant of record. The final price, billing interval, renewal terms, and applicable taxes are shown before payment. You can cancel future subscription renewal through the Paddle customer portal.
